Items and Economy

Version: v0.8.18 | Updated: 2026-10-22 | Evidence: Lab DOM extraction + source verification + recorded runs

Two currencies

CurrencySpent onSources
Star Dust (meta)Lab: attributes, run team, item unlocks, archiveRun results, boss kills, shiny captures, achievements, quests
PokéDollars ₽ (in-run)Poké Balls/chests, freeing caged Pokémon, slot machine (40 ₽ tier), Meowth's shop, spend-scaling blessingsKills, streaks (×500 streak: +23 ₽ + buffs in logs), Trading +8%/level, double-coin events

In-run coins vanish on death — spend them, don't hoard.

Coin priority (measured)

  1. Poké Balls: captures are permanent League assets.
  2. Chests: stable source of run items.
  3. Cages: free the trapped Pokémon (reward details TBD).
  4. Meowth's shop: emergency potions/berries.
  5. Slot machine: 40 ₽ a pull; skip unless flush.
  6. Gold Tooth item: Meowth-related costs −8% (up to −24%).

Coin-scaling blessings (source-verified)

  • Some blessings scale off coins spent/carried: +1% damage per 25 ₽ carried (max 25%); the more you spend, the more damage.
  • "Poké Balls 50% off" blessings exist — coin flow becomes capture flow.

The run item pool (126)

67 items start in the pool; 59 need Star Dust (150–1400, median 500) and only then appear in Poké Balls and the shop. Tiers: Common/Uncommon/Rare/Epic/Legendary.

Held items (drops/card picks, 151)

Classic main-series held items (Leftovers, Life Orb, Choice Band…) with main-series effects. Full table: held items data.

Watch the self-harm ones: Flame Orb burns you on every attack — a trap for survival builds; it shows up often in bot logs.

Big Backpack & Archive

  • Big Backpack (Lab 3400): carry 3 items per run (was 2).
  • Archive (Lab 510/level, +5 slots): store unwanted items out of the run pool — they stop appearing in Poké Balls and the shop. A build stabilizer.
